	Beatrice calls to apologize today. She says she hadn’t thought twice about waltzing into our house when I left her on the front porch yesterday and had only realized after the fact that she was breaking both the CDC’s recommendations and the Phillips' family rules. She apologizes and assures us that she is in perfect health.
	Tell her it’s no big deal despite the fact that I was confused about it yesterday. In fact, had asked Steve about it last night as we were getting ready for bed. He said that if Beatrice wasn't worried about getting COVID from us, he wasn't worried about getting it from her. He explained this as we maneuvered around one another in our postage-stamp-sized master bathroom. Whoever built this addition onto our 1917 bungalow house wasn’t thinking about married couples who might be stuck together for days on end.
	Asked Steve why Paul wasn’t allowed on our front porch but Beatrice was. Steve explained that Beatrice is older, wiser, and respectful of the governing authorities. Paul, on the other hand, believes the whole thing is a big hoax.
