The Bridge Room 111 March 31, 2020 515 Garden Plaza Court Post Falls, ID 83854 Dear Grammy Phillips, Thanks for your letter. Your attitude amazes me. In the midst of being confined to your room and having all communal meals and activities canceled, aren’t you bored? How do you pass the time? Do they serve you your meals in your rooms? Wish I had room service. And doesn’t it seem strange that you’re there in Post Falls alone in a room, and I’m here in an over-crowded three-bedroom house? Seems like we ought to be able to swap some people to even things out. I’ll give you 1.5 of my people, and you can give me half your delivered meals. Haha. Just kidding. You asked what God has been teaching me lately. I would like to know myself. Two is company; three is a crowd? God destroyed mankind with a flood because they were too noisy? Take your time picking the people you want to live with because you’re seriously going to have to live with them? I think he’s teaching me that I’m not happy unless I have everything a certain way. I’m so unsettled and not okay right now. I just want to be alone. And yet, aren’t we supposed to be content in all circumstances? If so, I don’t know how to be content. How do you find rest and joy in trying situations? Would love to hear your thoughts. Would love to hear anything other than kids fighting and family members blasting music and news of another broken appliance. Love, Angela Phillips
