Saturday, March 28, 2020 Had an eye-opening Zoom meeting with my gals’ prayer group today. Was trepidatious about how it would go as the ladies’ viewpoints and life situations dramatically differ. Could we still remain friends, meeting and sharing struggles, now that what originally brought us together, that is attendance at the same church, can no longer take place? Have I mentioned that California’s governor has put the ixnay on gatherings? He has. No church. No get-togethers. No fun. So we're meeting Saturday mornings on Zoom now, all of us in the city of Whittier, but in very different socio-economic areas. Yes, at one time we all attended Quaker Community Church, but we follow God rather differently. Yes, we all say we have faith, but will our faith be enough to keep us loving one another while this worldwide event is boiling the dross from our lives?
