Eden Behind; Paradise Ahead

Eden behind; Paradise ahead
And I in between lost and complete.
Washed white as snow but daily repentant.
Born again but body declining.
Full of His riches yet suffering in need.
Reigning with Him but subject to men.
Friend of Omniscient but cluelessly wondering
how we'll reach there from right here.

"Not by reaching," says He.
"But My mighty hand pushing
Heaven into walkers of faith.
Step aside and stand still.
Don't bar the way or demand your will
through this ache in between
Eden and My Kingdom coming
on earth as it is in Heaven.
